Empathy, kindness, and compassion are beautiful qualities of the heart and research shows they promote our physical and mental well-being as well as being good for others and the world. But sometimes it is hard to care. We may be afraid to get involved, unsure how to help, or just feel overwhelmed by all the suffering we observe around us. However, with the right know-how and tools, we can overcome these obstacles and learn to be kinder and more empathetic. In this talk, Venerable Khadro will explain some practical methods for dealing with these and other obstacles, and cultivating greater empathy and kindness.
