May 14, 2022 @ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Best Western Coeur d'Alene Inn

There are many organizations in our community serving families in the A.L.I.C.E. population and the population of women in various stages of transition.  We are seeking to honor these women who don’t have many opportunities to “do something nice for themselves” while offering them resources and hope for a better future.

WHAT: We will honor these ladies with a luncheon at Best Western Coeur d’Alene.  Lunch time will feature Tammey Grable-Woodford a motivation speaker and cancer survivor providing hope and encouragement to overcoming life’s obstacles.

WHO:  We will work with our partners at UGM, The Kroc Center, St. Vincent DePaul, Your Friend Pamela Faye and similar non profit organizations in our community to identify those ladies who will most benefit from an event of this type.  Guest list will be capped at 50

EXPOs and RESOURCES:  There will be no charge for an expo table for non profits offering services to this demographic. These Non Profits will be encouraged to share their resources and to provide a raffle item at their table that would benefit these ladies and their families.

We have all been to retreats and conferences where we garner fabulous information, are excited to implement what we have learned, are all on board with changing, growing, succeeding with what we have learned, then return to the “real world” and life takes over.

Take Aways:  The swag bags and expo tables will include items such as recipe cards, at home fitness routines, opportunities for art classes, community involvement, etc.

Six month follow up:  What did you do to personalize this? What was meaningful to you? Led by Jennifer Dancy, a follow up session will be offered to the women free of charge.  They will be encouraged to incorporate any aspect from the May 14th event that is important to them into their daily lives, then to meet with us again in  6 months to renew, refresh and report (share) their successes and/or obstacles, gaining support.

Emerge Art:  Has offered to have FREE art sessions throughout the next 6 months for the participants who would like to pursue this.  Michelle Fellegy will be reporting on this at the next meeting

Non Profit Expo: We are inviting non profit agencies providing resources for this audience a free expo table at the event.  Each table will be required to offer a raffle item at their table.

Sponsorship Expo:  All sponsors of the event will be provided with an expo table.  We encourage a raffle at the table, but it is not required.
