The favorite loop of many local motorcyclists, the ride headed out I-90, south on highway 3 past Rose Lake and back up highway 97 through Harrison to Curley’s Hauser Junction. Click here for a larger image to download.

Funds raised help low income families by improving the accessibility and quality of affordable child care. Our ALICE Project (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) uncovered the fact that child care is the most expensive item on a family of four’s monthly budget — higher than food or shelter. Low income families are frequently forced to choose sub-standard or unlicensed care for their children.

Pre-registration is appreciated! Check-in at Cosmic Cowboy Grill in CdA on Saturday at 8am, KSU at 9am. For just $20 per person, you are supporting local low-income families with child care. Your entry fee includes complimentary coffee, a raffle ticket, snack in Harrison, and lunch afterwards. If you’re not riding, feel free to register and join us for lunch to support this great cause!

7th Annual Red Dress Run, For the Hounds! @ Begins at Crown & Thistle Pub
Aug 21 @ 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm
It’s time to put on your Red Dresses for charity. Join us as we Run for the hounds in beautiful downtown Coeur d Alene!
It’s that time of year again when we don our red dresses and raise a ruckus as we raise some dollars for a charity near and dear to everyone’s heart, The Kootenai Humane Society!
This year we are focusing on the grassroots and specifically earmarking our donation for the daily operating expenses of KHS. They have plenty of large donors helping them with their relocation and new building, but they always need veterinary supplies, food, kitty litter and other consumables. 100% of proceeds will be donated!
Our route this year will include beer and wine stops with most, if not all, participating locations providing discounts, specials, fun surprises, or donations to the event itself. As is tradition, there will be an opportunity to jump, dive, or crawl into our beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene as we wind our way around and through beautiful downtown CDA.
This year, as in the past, we will be providing food at the on-in, which will also feature music and dancing in an amazing space donated by the local VFW.
This is going to be a special event and not to be missed! We hope we see each and every one of you as we Run For the Hounds!
Welcome back to the CDA RDR!
