The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride @ Coeur d'Alene

Coeur d’Alene is officially taking part in the world’s largest and most stylish charitable motorcycle event on Sunday, May 22nd, 2022.
This year’s Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is all about returning to group riding where ever possible, with hundreds of thousands of dapper gentlefolk riding stunning motorcycles on the same day around the world for men’s health.
The goal for 2022 is to raise awareness and $6m USD for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health on behalf of charity partner, Movember.
All riders must be registered at The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride website to view local ride details, with details are to remain confidential.

Join us on July 14th to hear Jess discuss his new book, Angel of Rome in the Library’s Community Room. The even includes complementary desserts and Bakery by the Lake will offer wine and beer to purchase.

Angel of Rome is a captivating collection of twelve stories that finds an array of contemporary characters living as we live now, craving fame or reinvention that often obscures the true person behind the mask. Jess is the author of ten books, most recently Angel of Rome (available June 28), and #1 New York Times bestseller, Beautiful Ruins. His books include the national bestseller The Financial Lives of the Poets, National Book Award Finalist The Zero, Edgar Award-winning Citizen Vince, Land of the Blind, and the New York Times Notable Book Over Tumbled Graves. 2022 Break the Silence Suicide Awareness and Prevention 5K Walk @ Riverstone Park

PAN of North Idaho is happy to bring you the 2022 Break the Silence 5k Walk for Suicide Awareness & Prevention on Saturday, September 10, 2022. We invite you to walk to show your support of those who struggle with mental health wellness, to remember those who lost their battle, and to raise awareness of the reality of suicide in our communities.

The Walk will launch at Riverstone Park in Coeur d’Alene. On-site registration and check in begins at 8:30 AM.

Before the release, gather your honor beads, purchase a t-shirt or a sticker to help support the cause, but be ready to hit the trail at 10AM. Trail is kid friendly, stroller friendly, and wheelchair friendly.

Many local mental health resource providers will be on hand before and after the walk, with a welcoming heart, great information and cool swag.

Free water, coffee and snacks available before and after the walk. Music by Alejandro.

All proceeds and donations stay within Health District 1 to continue suicide prevention outreach, host suicide loss survivor support groups, provide educational training to bring experts in suicidology to speak to clinicians and the community.

This event is our biggest fundraiser of the year. The money raised stays 100% local and helps to ensure we can continue to enhance and expand our programs to the youth of our community.
