VIRTUAL EVENT: Join us via Zoom: bit.ly/2021Chodron
There’s big money to be made in science and technology. Corporations worldwide race to make the next discovery and launch the next innovation that will make our lives better – for a price. How might the powerful tools of science and technology genuinely be used in the service of society, with equitable access for all? Join Buddhist nun and author Venerable Thubten Chodron to examine the mindsets and values we can cultivate to ensure that our personal and professional efforts bring benefit in the long-term.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Venerable Thubten Chodron, noted international author and teacher, is the abbess of Sravasti Abbey in Newport, WA. She has published many books on Buddhist philosophy and meditation, and is currently co-authoring with His Holiness the Dalai Lama a multi-volume series of teachings on the Buddhist path, The Library of Wisdom and Compassion. Her teachings are available on her website: thubtenchodron.org.
