The North Idaho Family Group (NIFG) is an Idaho 501(c)3 non profit. It is a membership and program driven group whose mission is Healthy Families and Life Long Learning. NIFG is a backbone organization that will produce the annual Family Day in the Parks event in the spirit of the former collaborative, nonprofit based, Kids Day in the Park with a greatly expanded venue, schedule of events, audience and opportunities.

The event will give families a last day of school activity that is free to the public and lasts until after dark.

The Vine Church is doing a FREE summer science camp called “Science for Kids: Exploring God’s Oceans with Hands-On Fun” on Saturday, June 30th, from 10:00-12:00 for children ages 3-12 at Finucane Park, 550 E Prairie Ave in Hayden. You’ll experience hands-on science experiments, fun games, snack-tivities, amazing crafts, incredible music, and meet some new friends too. There is no cost, but space is limited. St Vincent de Paul North Idaho is bringing in 2 experts that will take items out of St Vinny’s thrift stores and re purpose them right in front of you. HGTV and Better Homes and Gardens Contributor and KXLY’s very own Mark Peterson will be “hands on” transforming the old into something new!!!

The Block Party will also have a Pop Up Market with people showing their own re purposing talents. And if you get hungry there will be food trucks too!!!!
