Vintage Police Flag Paint it Forward @ Pinot's Palette
Jun 1 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Honor our Men and Women in Blue with this stunning vintage flag.

Two years ago the community of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho lost one of our own, Sergeant Greg Moore. Our community is rising together to create a place that will allow residents and visitors to remember and meditate on the sacrifices made by our men and women in blue.

In early 2016 the Coeur d’Alene City council voted to support the construction of a contemplative water feature in McEuen Park, a beautiful 16 acre waterfront park in downtown Coeur d’Alene. This will honor, respect and remember Coeur d’Alene Police Sergeant Greg Moore, who was killed in the line of duty on May 5, 2015 and also recognize the ultimate sacrifice paid by over 20,000 peace officers across the nation. The City of Coeur d’Alene owns the land and will maintain it in perpetuity, and no tax dollars will be used to fund the memorial. Pinot’s Palette will be donating 27% of our proceeds to Panhandle Parks Foundation to help raise funds for the memorial!!

Run for #271 @ McEuen Park
Jun 3 @ 7:30 am – 1:00 pm

Please join us for our 6th annual Run for #271 event! The goal of the event is to help promote healthy and happy living to our local youth as well as provide a family-friendly day to the community. In doing so, we’ve made it a priority to ensure that 100% of the proceeds from this event go to our ten local elementary schools!! This way we help support the youth in our community.
The Kid’s Obstacle Run is a 1-3 0.3ish mile lap (depending on age) with 5 obstacles along the route. This is only for kids 2-12 yrs (parents you can walk beside your child if they need assistance). When you sign up, you get to choose which school receives your child’s registration money! If you have no preference, then it will be split equally among the schools. Participants get FREE entry to the Play Pen activities and one FREE raffle ticket.
The Fun 5k is for everyone who want to walk/run 3.1 miles (without obstacles). This is a fun 5k so there will be no timing. However, there will be prizes for the top 3 male and female finishers. Participants get FREE entry to the Play Pen activities and one FREE raffle ticket.
In addition to the Obstacle Run and the Fun 5k there will also be food trucks, bounce houses, lawn games, music, face painting, and so much more!! We also will be holding a Raffle with some AMAZING prizes (tickets included with every race entry). If you don’t want to register for the race, but want your child to participate in the fun, you may buy them a Play Pass which will grant you entry to the extra activities.
Last year we had over 800 participants and raised nearly $18,000!! Our goal is to raise $25,000 this year, so please sign up today!!
