Christmas Gift Drive

Hagadone Marine Group is excited to announce the return of our Annual Christmas Gift Drive! 🎅 Every year, the Marine Group teams up with the community to gather gifts for a local nonprofit organization. This year, Hagadone Marine is hosting a Gift Drive benefiting the Children’s Village as well as a Book Drive for Books for Tots. This is a great way to make sure the holiday spirit reaches every child in our Coeur d’Alene community. Both Hagadone Marine team members as well as local community members are invited to participate in this special event! 🎄
👉 Gift Drive benefiting ‘The Children’s Village’:
The Children’s Village is a local care facility that provides a safe haven for children who have been abused, neglected, or are in severe family crisis. The Hagadone Marine Group team has set up three Children’s Village trees in their lobby, with one dedicated to The Crisis Nursery Tree (Ages 0-4), the Elementary Tree (Ages 5-11), and The Teen Tree (Ages 12-18). Each tree is decorated with ornament tags that include the child’s gender and a specific gift or item the child wants and/or needs.
Participants can simply grab a tag and go shopping for the item listed on a tag. The Marine Offices (1000 South Marina Drive) are open from 8AM-5PM Monday through Saturday (closed Sundays). Once the shopping is complete, the unwrapped gifts can then be returned to Hagadone Marine, with the original tree tag attached, by Thursday, December 10th. Then the elves at Hagadone Marine Group will load them up and deliver the gifts to the Children’s Village on Friday, December 11th.
👉 Book Boat benefiting ‘Books for Tots’:
As part of the Hagadone Marine Group Christmas Gift Drive, the community can help foster a love of reading for children in Coeur d’Alene. Hagadone Marine Group has added a “Book Boat” in our lobby — while you’re out, grab a book for any age and bring it back with you to donate to our Book Boat benefitting our local “Books for Tots” Program! 📚 The Hagadone Marine Team is going to try to fill the Cobalt Boat in their lobby with books! Due to COVID-19, we request that all books are purchased new. Winterfest Holiday Lights Drive-thru

Help us kick-off the holiday season. Drive-thru the city hall campus to view the beautiful light display in the comfort of your car. The North Pole Workshop & Mrs. Claus Kitchen will be drive up stations, be sure to stop and get your Christmas Craft, Santa letters & Snow Man Soup kit. Christmas carols will be heard throughout along with a special appearance from the characters of Frozen. The Fire Department will have the antique fire truck all decorated handing out candy canes and SANTA & Mrs. Claus will arrive to wave to all the children.
The drive-thru will wind its way starting at E. 4th Avenue and N. William Street, to E. 5th Avenue through City Halls parking lot, & end at the community Christmas Tree at 4th Avenue & Spokane Street.

The Museum of North Idaho is pleased to announce our 1st ever holiday event: Socially Distant Santa Selfies at the Fort Sherman Chapel December 19, 2020 from 1pm-3:30pm

Here is what this event will look like:

Families will line up outside the Fort Sherman Chapel in socially distant lines. An intake table is at the bottom of the steps where donations are encouraged. Elves will provide a form for parents to fill out with personalized information regarding each child.
Families enter one at a time. A volunteer at the top of the steps motions each family in. Before each child enters, Santa will be briefed about the child(ren) by the elf for a more personalized experience.
Children will be positioned 6′ from Santa and parents have an opportunity to photo with their own cell phones.
Families exit to the back.
Live music and light refreshments are provided.

About this Event

The Day of Influence, is an inspiration filled day of powerful speakers telling their stories, to equip and encourage our community both in life and work. With 2020 behind us, and with new commitments and goals for the year, we want to give you a good shot in the arm to start with a positive, inspirational and informative event for our community.

Each talk will be delivered in a 20-minute “Ted Talk” style. This allows for adequate breaks between speakers, and will give us enough time to allow for connecting with speakers, checking emails and notifications, and meeting other attendees and sponsors.

Masquerade Charity Event for One More Time @ Crime Scene Entertainment

Join us as we raise funds for One More Time, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
Here’s their message: “Our mission is to help adults with life-limiting conditions enjoy a memorable experience “One More Time.” Our goal is to tailor each experience to the individual’s wish, as much as possible.
One More Time’s founder and CEO envisioned this wonderful idea after the sudden death of her father in 2017 when he was only 58 years old. Although she can no longer have memorable moments with her father she finds it fills her heart to offer and re-create these “One More Time” experiences for others.
Some of the memorable experiences we have helped create, to date are
*Birthday celebrations
*Skydiving for a father and son
*A horse trainers first ride in 19 years after a stroke
*A “Senior” photoshoot
Our ability to continue providing these experiences will take help from our wonderful community. We currently have several “One More Time” experiences in the planning phase and hope we never have to say “no” to someones last wish.”

About the mystery:
Bloodworth Falls is an isolated town plagued with scandals. The townsfolk bicker in the streets, and many believe the local government is corrupt. Nevertheless, the mayor is hosting a mysterious masquerade ball in the old Bloodwood Castle. The tickets to the event have sold out in record time. The townspeople are curious to find out why the mayor would put effort into doing something positive in this hopeless town of gloom. Anticipation for the event hangs thickly in the air, and many are already hunting for the perfect mask.
** All ticket information will be EMAILED, please ensure you use a valid email you can check frequently.**
You have the option of being a murder mystery character or just an observer, but these mystery events are NOT setup like a play. Our mysteries are a hands on, immersive experience. For those not wishing to be a character, you will need to work harder to gather clues, as you won’t have set objectives. You will be given a brief description of the main characters & will witness the murder, investigation, evidence presentation and lastly solution. You will have to go above and beyond to retrieve information from the characters, or by listening closely to your surroundings.
For those that chose to be characters, you will be given step by step instruction on how to play your character for the night, but it’s up to you to show off your characters personality and expand on your objectives.

All sales final. Tickets are Non-refundable. Tickets involve assigned characters that play an important role in the murder mystery (unless general admission is selected), therefore, ticket transfers will only be accepted on a case by case basis, within 30 days of the event. Personalized materials are created & cannot be changed last minute.
Being that all guests are assigned a character & have objectives they need to complete throughout the night, we can not be held responsible for how the overall mystery plays out. We will do our best to keep the mystery flowing as it’s intended, but have no control over a guest leaking information before it’s time etc.
