Kids under 16 free! 12:00-2:00 join us for family fun with face painting, bounce houses, Papa Murphy Pizza, Disney Princesses will even make an appearance!!! 2:00 PM is the opening ceremony followed by the remembrance ceremony to honor those affected by a pregnancy, infant or child loss. Free Evening at the Museum @ Museum of North Idaho

The Museum has three new exhibits this season. The two seasonal exhibits New Land, New Life: Immigrants Shaped Our Region and Keeping History Alive. The first exhibit provides a look into the lives of some of the people in the major immigrant groups that settled here. The second exhibit showcases a sampling of the Museum of North Idaho’s recent artifact donations. The exhibits will run April 2 through October 31st. A new permanent exhibit Explores and Fur Trade, created by the Friends of Spokane House, looks at trade prior to white settlement and explorers.

Artists will demonstrate their creative abilities on the runway by turning junk and recycled materials into fabulously fun designer outfits. This highly successful event mixes fashion, art, and sustainability before an intensely energetic crowd in one unforgettable riotous evening.

Emergency Preparedness & Disability Workshop @ Kootenai County Fire and Rescue Training Center

A free workshop will be held on November 5th to help people with disabilities be prepared in the event of an emergency. While disasters and emergencies affect everyone, their impact on people with disabilities is often compounded by factors such as reliance on electrical power, elevators, accessible transportation, exclusion from shelters, and accessible communication. By attending the free workshop, you can learn how to do a personal assessment, develop a concise emergency plan, assemble your “go bag”, and learn how to stay informed. Each participant will receive their own emergency supply starter kit. Anyone with a disability, their friends, family or caregivers is invited to attend.

SARS Ski Swap @ Bonner County Fairgrounds

The annual “unofficial” start of the ski season is November 9th at the Bonner County Fairgrounds. Come get the best deals on new and used ski and snowboard equipment! $2 entry fee or $5 per family.

To sell your used equipment, you can drop it off in the main hall at the Fairgrounds on Friday, November 8th from noon – 7 pm.

A portion of the proceeds from all sales go to support the Inland Northwest’s premiere ski racing program, Schweitzer Alpine Racing School!

The EXCEL Foundation’s 2019 Big Event @ Best Western Plus CDA Inn

Dirty Bird Trail Run @ McEuen Park

Welcome to our 8th Annual Dirty Bird Trail Run.
***Please read***

This is an impromptu trail run for a good cause. We will be collecting food and donation for Children’s Village, Inc.
* Please park on the east side of McEuen Park (City Hall Parking lot) I will have my van and you can drop off your donation there. I will have the back doors open for your donation.
***LET’S FILL THE VAN UP!!!!
The run will start at the McEuen Park Band Shell. From band shell we will run to the 3rd street entrance and run around Tubbs Hill (counter clock wise) and back to the band shell. This is a fun run, all we ask for is a donation for Children’s Village from their needs list.
Route: 2.5(ish) mile trail run (course will be marked)
* After the run we can warm up at
Evans brothers coffee.

After swing by Fleet Feet Coeur d’ Alene and pick up some gear… you deserve it!

$10 Bag Sale For Charity @ Boys and Girls Club of Kootenai County

This event hosted by Beau Monde Exchange has raised over $95,000 for local charities over the past 12 years. We fill the gymnasium with items that people have marked to donate if we were not able to take them at the Exchange. With help from volunteers we fill the gymnasium in somewhat organized piles and provide 13 gallon kitchen size garbage bags for you to stuff for only $10 a piece. If you’d like to beat the crowds and show up at 3:30, you can pay $20 cash at the door which does not include any bags. This is a cash only event so be sure to get some cash before you come. Some of the charities that have been included over the years are, CASA, Children’s Village, Union Gospel Mission, St. Vincent’s, Womens Center, North Idaho Youth Ranch, Newby-Ginnings, Humane Society, Relatives as Parents, Local Foster Care Support Groups, Lake City Food Bank, Father’s Market, We’ve Got Stuff, Strong Families through Youth Sports, Camp Journey, Camp Kaniksu, Goodwill, Arc, etc!!

Ugly Sweater run @ St. Vincent de Paul HELP Center

Last year was so fun, let’s do it again! We had over 150 people, let’s make it 250!!!
It’s that time of the year… parties, too much food and drink, and of course ugly Christmas sweaters! Trail Maniacs would like to combine those time honored traditions AND we’ll even throw in a little help for those less fortunate. We are having an Ugly Sweater run. This event is free, but we are accepting gently used jackets, coats, sweaters and blankets for those in need.
Starting at the St. Vincent parking lot at 201 E Harrison Ave, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814. We will run 3 to 4 mile (route will depend on weather conditions). Route will most likely include 2nd Street to Tubbs Hill and back, we will finish at Daft Badger. Daft Badger Brewing will have refreshments and a contest for best dressed runner! Voting will start at Daft Badger at 12:00 pm. We will update prizes, but we will have a prize for overall male and female best ugly sweater! Best of all Daft Badger will be offering $1.00 off pints for anyone wearing an ulgy sweater!
