CYT North Idaho presents its 4th Annual Fundraiser!
Come in out of the cold and join us for a beach party with South Pacific. Wear your favorite Hawaiian apparel for a fun evening with this classic in concert. The 2019 Northwest Fest & Salmon Feast is Family Promise of North Idaho’s major annual fundraiser. It offers a dinner, silent and live auctions, and dancing! We invite you to join us on February 9. Make your reservations early, as this event sold out last year.
The 4th annual Mardi Gras Krewe d’Alene in the CDA Resort Plaza Shops. As you stroll through the “streets” of New Orleans in this re-creation of the French Quarter, you’ll find samples of delicious New Orleans’-style fare from up to 10 local favorite restaurants who are competing in a lively cookoff for Chef’s choice and People’s choice awards. With fun street entertainment throughout there is so much to do.
In addition to the featured restaurants, you can enjoy stilt walkers, jugglers, fortune tellers, henna tatooists, body painters, artists in action, and live musicians. Enjoy a drink in Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop Bar, a re-creation of the oldest bar in the country. Sip on a Café Au Lait and savor delightful beignets in the re-creation of the historic Café Du Monde. And new this year is a performance by the drag queens Nova Kaine and Les Gurlz.
Find the baby in the King Cake and reign over the 2019 Mardi Gras, leading the traditional second line led by a live jazz trio. And as they say in New Orleans, “laissez les bon temps rouler” which means “let the good times roll”!
Tickets include a great evening of food, fun, and a souvenir shot glass. There are prizes for best costume and most spirited reveler. Costumes are encouraged but not required. The bar is no host, and revelers must be 21 and over.

Journey though caregiving, its challenges, lessons, and its unique grief. Join Kaylee Kron, Bereavement Counselor and Maggie McComb, Hospice Nurse once a month along with other caregivers to share your experience, get insight from fellow caregivers, and gain skills to help you along your caregiving journey. This support group is ongoing (third Wednesday of each month), open to the public and free of charge.

The 2019 Soup & Chili Cook-off is Coeur d’Alene Charter Academy’s annual fundraiser, and this year Charter will be celebrating the 20th Anniversary. Participants will showcase their best soup and/or chili, while spectators have the opportunity to sample. Wine, Stein and Dine is a great annual event that includes tasting from over 85 vendors of microbrews and hard ciders from local breweries, wines from area wineries, with an array of foods from local restaurants, live music with Bill Bozly, wine tree raffle, photo booth and silent auction. Everyone receives a wine, or beer glass. This annual fundraiser of the Post Falls Education Foundation funds innovative classroom grants for Post Falls School District educators in grades K-12. For the 7th year in a row, Coeur d’Alene will host The Sweethearts’ Ball, which celebrates the lives of children in the greater northwest who battle cancer-related illnesses. Every spring we bring together some of Coeur d’ Alene and our surrounding areas most generous benefactors to share a night full of love, compassion and excitement while bringing together our community in a fun and realistic way. Over the last 6 years, The Sweethearts’ Ball has been able to contribute over $250,000 and has helped send hundreds of children to Camp Journey free of cost to them and their families. With the support and kindness of the whole community Camp Journey can continue to bring such special kids, the most amazing week of their lives!

The Panhandle Autism Society is excited about our 9th annual Walk for Autism Awareness in North Idaho! Last year we were humbled by our communities participation and support with over 600 individuals participating in the event! This event is the biggest fundraiser for autism awareness in the North Idaho area. All proceeds go to benefit the Panhandle Autism Society. The donations are used exclusively to benefit families and individuals in North Idaho whose lives are impacted by autism.
The funds from last years walk helped contribute to: Funding nearly $10,000 in local individual grants, 5 social and support groups were continued with record number attendance at our teen and tween groups, parents were again able to attend our fall conference and we were able to continue our mission to train law enforcment and 1st responders in North Idaho and surrounding areas, attend a multitude of community events where we spread AUTISM AWARENESS throughout our amazing community! Thank YOU North Idaho as none of this is possible with out your continued SUPPORT!
