Cow Pies and Meadow Muffins Fundraiser, The Pollination Project @ Kootenai County Fairgrounds
Oct 14 @ 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

This one day fundraiser benefits a new project created for you by the Idaho Master Gardeners, UI Extension and UI Small Farms Division. Our beloved, local soil ammendment company, Smart Gro, has closed their business. Don’t fret, you can buy the last of the Smart Gro product and the manure that created the product at a discount, at our Cow Pies and Meadow Muffins Fundraiser. This primo, 2-3 year old manure is guaranteed to be weed free and herbicide free, screened three times to 1/16″ and ready to apply to your garden and farm now! It is locally sourced and naturally processed at Rosenberger Ranch in Hayden. Mesophilic & Thermophilic process done for you. It is brimming with microorganisms and can be added to gardens and landscapes immediately. Pre-ordered totes cost $450 (retail $650) and weigh in at 1900 lbs for 9 cu ft. (includes tote and we will load it) OR scoop it in your own container for $2/gallon. FYI a 5 gallon bucket weighs 40 lbs. Due to the small particle size, the water holding capacity is incredibly high. Your soil deserves this! Call UI Extension at 208-446-1680 or email kcarleton@uidaho.edu to pre-order your tote – only 8 totes are available. Limited quantities available. Pre-order large amounts to assure availability. During the event, enter KC Fairgrounds through the main gate and find us next to the arena gate. Look for the red and white checkered flags and signs.
