Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre presents a one night only performance of God Help Us with 7-time Emmy Award-winning actor Ed Asner. This special night of theatre will be Wednesday, September 12th at the Schuler Auditorium on the campus of North Idaho College. This political comedy speaks to audiences of all political persuasions with one essential argument: We need to learn to listen to each other so we can live – and laugh – together!

Since 1957, United Way of North Idaho has connected businesses and individuals with our nonprofit community to support and enhance nonprofit work that improves lives every day. In 2006 we started the Day of Caring—a one-day volunteer blitz that brings hundreds of locals working together with nonprofit agencies for the common good. This year we expect over 40 projects and 300 volunteers and rely on the support of a few sponsors to help ensure the day is energizing and engaging. The Museum is celebrating its 50th anniversary with the feature exhibit Keeping History Alive. The exhibit showcases some of the Museum’s favorite artifacts and the importance of collecting and preserving our region’s history. The exhibit will run April 3 through October 31st. The Museum will offer free admission on the 2nd Friday of each month from 5pm to 8pm as part of Art Walk.
The Museum of North Idaho in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, is located adjacent to Coeur d’Alene City Park at 115 Northwest Blvd. Museum hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11 am-5 pm, April 3 through Oct. 31. A free one-hour parking pass can be requested at the Museum desk.
Every second Friday of the month from April-December, stroll through beautiful downtown Coeur d’Alene and enjoy the many galleries representing locally and nationally acclaimed artists.
The ALS Association’s premier event, our Walk to Defeat ALS® is an outlet for communities across the nation to demonstrate their concern for and the urgent need to find the cure for ALS while providing the best care for those who are currently battling the disease.
What began more than 15 years ago as a grassroots effort to increase awareness has now turned into a National Signature Event that the entire ALS community rallies behind, growing the number of teams and participants each year.
Whether reinvigorated by the Ice Bucket Challenge 2014 or new and concerned about our cause, over 150,000 ALS supporters nationwide participated in local Walks this year. It was incredible to feel your support, as Walks across the country broke fundraising and attendance records, and enthusiasm was off the charts!

Support childhood cancer families in the Inland Northwest by attending the Anna Schindler Foundation’s memorial golf tournament. Join us for a 9-hole scramble or just for dinner and an exciting silent and live auction. All proceeds go toward financially supporting childhood cancer families receiving treatment at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital. Tickets available at the Anna Schindler Foundation website.
This exciting event will gather civic and business leaders and hundreds of community members for an evening of silent and live auctions and a chance to mix and mingle with Club supporters over delectable hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and a delicious dinner.
This event is our biggest fundraiser of the year. The money raised goes directly to our local Clubs and helps to ensure we can continue to enhance and expand our programs to
the youth of our community.

Rascal Rodeo produces rodeo events for anyone with mental and or physical disabilities of all ages throughout the Pacific Northwest. Our events are always free of charge to the special needs community because of generous donors and sponsors. Any age can attend and experience what it’s like to be a cowboy or cowgirl at their own pace with no pressure. Come discover unknown abilities and be the stars of the show!
Volunteers always needed. Youth volunteers are also welcome. Siblings who attend will not be considered RR Cowboys or Cowgirls. It is encouraged they come and cheer on the participants and at times take part in the activities when time and resources allow. Items handed out are only for the RR Cowboys and Cowgirls who are in attendance.

He explains the irony that war feels better than peace, that adversity can turn into a blessing, and that disasters are more often more fondly remembered than the good moments in life. Tribe explains why humans are stronger when we come together and how we can achieve that in our presently divided world.

The 1600 block of Sherman Avenue will host a FREE block party and parking spaces will be temporarily turned into public spaces as part of global park(ing) day. Event highlights include: live music, food trucks, beer garden, artisan vendors and more!
This event promises to be a fun auction and dinner evening with some great auction items and terrific company.
HCC was approved in early September of 2017. Since then our team has been working hard in areas of fundraising, finalizing a site and upcoming contracts related to operations.
Our last hurdle is the funding needed to ensure a smooth opening in September of 2019. We are excited to have everything in place for this auction to be a huge success.
Join us on Saturday, September 22nd, for the 10th annual Break the Silence 5K walk, run, jog, (or however you roll)! Our walk is in remembrance of those lost to the completion of suicide; and an effort to raise suicide awareness and prevention. On-site registration and check-in opens at 8:30 AM on race day. The guest speaker is Heidi Pratt-Rogers.
The annual “Break the Silence” Walk begins at the beautiful Riverstone Park, nestled in the Village at Riverstone.
Walkers will start at Riverstone Park/Centennial Trail junction and travel along the beautiful Centennial Trail. The “Break the Silence Loop” sign located at the halfway point of the walk will signify it is time to return to Riverstone Park, where light snacks & entertainment will be waiting. Have no fear, the “Break the Silence” trail will be clearly marked so you won’t get lost!
Come see members of the Idaho Army National Guard compete in several challenging, exciting events for the honor of “Top Spartan”!
Visitors can try Challenge events non-competitively and participate in many FREE family-friendly activities, including: paintball, Archery Tag, obstacle course, and more!
National Guard Soldiers will be on hand to greet the public, as well as displays of military gear and weapons!
No registration is required, and all events are free and open to the public.
Join area professional architects and artists to learn about the Old Cataldo Mission. We will focus on landscape drawing, map making, artifacts and architecture. We will be taking a bus up to the Mission and returning to HREI where your parents can view your work.
Cost is $10 and includes lunch.

What should I wear to the event? We recommend wearing layers as the temperature can change rapidly after sunset. NOTE: This event will be held at Honey Eatery and Social Club in the case of inclimate weather. Updates will be posted online.
Will there be vegetarian options available? YES! Most of the dinner will be vegetables dishes. No one will leave the event hungry.
