Bras on Dudes @ Coeur d'Alene Eagles

Bras on Dudes is a live auction and fashion show featuring decorated bras modeled by local ‘dudes’! All proceeds benefit local cancer charities through The Windermere Foundation.

To submit a decorated bra:

Local Talent Variety Show benefiting The Community Action Partnership Food Bank and its drive to provide the makings for 1600 Thanksgiving Dinners to Local Families. This is a FREE event for anyone with mental and or physical disabilities of all ages. The purpose of our events is to show those with Special Needs that they are loved, cared for, accepted and can do things many say they cannot do. No horse or rodeo experience required to participate or volunteer. And yes, volunteers are needed! Come help the Special Needs community discover abilities they didn’t know they had!
*Note* Siblings will not be considered participants and be able to receive the free items handed out. But if time and resources allow they can take part in the activities. We encourage you to bring the whole family to help cheer on the participants and help others see just how capable they “disabled” are.

First Robotics Competition (FRC) @ Gizmo-CdA

​Part 1- Pre-Season Skill Building Class
Be part of the First Robotic Competition (FRC). Build a 5 foot 120 LB robot that can do things drive, pick up and climb. It’s as true to real-life, hands-on engineering as you can get.
This project is in two parts. During the Pre-season class (Sept-Dec) you will have the opportunity to learn how to design, do CAD, do electronics, build, fabricate, program, market and other skills that will be instrumental to the team during Once we hit build season (Part 2, Jan-March) the training is over and we strategize and build an awesome robot for competition.

HarvestFest 2017 – Stomp Out ALS! @ CDA Cellars Winery

Stomp Out ALS on Saturday, October 7th! Join us for a fun fall harvest festival! HarvestFest 2017 will benefit Matt’s Place Foundation, which provides housing and support for people with ALS and their families during their battle with ALS. Its ultimate intention is to provide hope, housing and assistance to families dealing with the ailments of motor neuron disease like ALS.

Watch the mayors of CDA, Hayden and Dalton Gardens compete in a grape-stomping contest, enjoy local wines, microbrews and ciders. We will have traditional Bavarian food options for sale, along with live music by Ron Greene.

This is a paperless ticket, please bring your receipt to the event. Ticket cost covers entry to the event and 2 drink tickets – beer, wine, cider, or non-alcoholic. Additional wine, beer and small plate appetizers are available for purchase.

Lutherhaven Boots & Pearls Fundraiser @ Camp Lutherhaven

Purpose ::
An evening of fun and generosity supporting the Lutherhaven Fund, making camp available to ALL children regardless of ability to pay. In 2016, 63% of campers came at free or reduced cost thanks to donors like you.

Tickets ::
$75 per person. Ticket price includes cruise, dinner, hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer, & cider tasting and live music.

*New this year: Tickets will be sold individually. (Instead of by table). You may purchase tickets for your group and there will be plenty of opportunity for your group to be together throughout the evening.

Time ::
Registration opens at 2:30 pm with a departure by cruise boat from the Coeur d’Alene Resort promptly at 3:30 pm;
Should you choose to drive, festivities will begin at Camp Lutherhaven at 4:30pm.
Boat returns to the resort by approximately 9:00 pm.

Program ::
Live music; wine, beer, & cider tasting; delicious dinner; meaningful program and a paddle raise to support camp!

Paddle Raise ::
After the dinner program, guests will have the opportunity to raise a paddle to make a 1 to 3 year pledge of support to the Lutherhaven Fund.

Burgers & Brews Fundraising Festival by CVMA 13-1 @ North Idaho Cider

The North Idaho Chapter 13-1 of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association is proud to present our 4th Annual Burgers & Brews fundraising event. This event is to raise money for our local veterans and their families in need in the North Idaho counties. 100% of all monies raised and donated at this event will go to veterans needing assistance in medical care and devices, bills, groceries, etc., as well as providing Thanksgiving meals and Christmas dinners/gifts for veterans and any family members in need. We are a group of non-combat and combat veterans who come together with a love of riding motorcycles and helping our fellow veterans.

We are grateful to have North Idaho Cider as our sponsor for this event and Bombastic Brewing as a co-sponsor.

EVENT IS FAMILY FRIENDLY! Participating vendors for this event are North Idaho Cider, Bombastic Brewing, American Legion Post 143, Up North Distillery, Down Draft Brewing Co., The Hired Grill, Drummin Up BBQ, Las Brasas Mexican Grill, Westwood, The Cupcaker Baker, LuLaRoe, Pure Romance, Scentsy, Bull Dog Pipe & Cigar, Lone Wolf HD, Sweet On You Pallets, AND MORE! There will be live music by Jacob Maxwell, Hannah Rebecca, and No Going Back. Live jazz will also be featured.
