Artist Spotlight on The Red Hot Mamas
Founded in 1993, The Red Hot Mamas are Coeur d’Alene’s original zany lady dance group. You’ve seen them in parades, at Car d’Lane and events not only around the Inland Empire but around America. They are returning again this year to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade where they will be preforming live on TV with a new act. Here’s your first chance to See what The Mamas have up their sleeves.

Artist Spotlight on Hannah Goodwin.
You never know where the “next big voice” is coming from and we are proud to showcase some contenders including 15 year old Hannah Goodwin. Hannah is a pianist/singer and protege of Barry Aiken’s Bare Mic Studios. The scuttlebutt is she’s doing a couple Billy Joel and Elton John songs. And who doesn’t like those piano men? I’m excited to hear her choices. And if she hits it big time you’ll be able to say “I saw her when…” when you attend Turkeys & More.
Artist Spotlight on Luke Russell
Luke Russell is a unique story teller who recites cowboy poetry to create images of the old west in rhythm and rhyme. He believes If you hear a story in rhyme you’ll listen to it time after time. He and his wife live on a small ranch in Hayden Idaho where they have horses and cattle and double ringed saddles.
Artist Spotlight on Jacob Maxwell
Jacob is a local singer/songwriter who is recently making waves at local venues. Barely 19 years old, he’s been a regular at Riverstone Summer Concert Series this summer and also several local Farmer’s markets.
Mike Bolan had this to say about Jacob.
“I’ve been trying to mentor him a bit, but he’s growing and maturing rapidly without much help needed. I’m hoping there’s a record in the near future (he writes good songs, too) and I sure hope I get to produce it. He’s the nicest kid and I think he’s loaded up with potential and a work ethic to match.” Check him out at: https://youtu.be/uigce9lbOF8
Artist Spotlight on Hannah Verdi
Hannah has been singing all her life and began theater in high school. She has competed on her 5-time Idaho State winning competitive drama team and was first place twice. She just played Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz to sold out houses at Coeur d’Alene High School.
Artist Spotlight on Bones
Bones Kasun is a long time local favorite. He seems to know every song ever written and he’s played every venue and party around CdA for years. Truly talented and gifted, Bones is the ultimate front man; great picker and singer and always a crowd-pleaser.
If you’ve seen him before you know he’ll be fun, if you never have, Turkeys & More is the place to do so. Reserved seat tickets on sale now. And every ticket is also an entry to win our door prize, a beautiful, original artwork be Mike Bolan.
Great entertainment and a great cause, please join us.
Artist Spotlight on Mackenzie Hickerson
Mackenzie is 15 years old and has been involved in singing, acting, and stage performance since the age of five. She has been active in CYT, Out of The Shadows, Post Falls High School select choir/drama and Studio 3 where she qualified for an “Arizoni” for her performance in Smokey Joe’s Cafe. Most recently Mackenzie performed in her second year as a finalist in North Idaho’s Got Talent along with other various musical performances. Come hear this young lady in person at Turkeys & More. Reserved seat tickets on sale now.
Spotlight on Alejandro
Alejandro Vargas moved here from Alaska where he was known as the Latin Crooner. He grew up listening to Elvis, Sinatra, Perry Como and other classic singers. He’s also a DJ and a wedding singer. Don’t know what he’ll be singing but take a listen, dang if I don’t hear a bit of Roy Orbison in his voice.
Come hear Alejandro and other local artists supporting Turkeys & More. Just 1 week away, get your reserved seat today. Calling 208-667-1865 or online at www.kroccda.org.
