Greetings! Thank you for supporting Family Promise of North Idaho’s Charity Golf Scramble. This year’s event takes place at the Links Golf Course in Post Falls on Friday, August 23rd
All of the proceeds raised from this event will benefit Family Promise of North Idaho. Our mission is to transform the lives of homeless children and their family. We are a unique shelter as we partner with local churches who host our guest families for a week at a time. The congregational volunteers who provide meals and a private space for each family are trained in the art of hospitality and confidentiality. In this way, the community of Kootenai County becomes part of the support system to those families experiencing homelessness.
We are grateful for you and thank you in advance for investing in families in need though out our community!
Our 7th Annual Red Dress Run Charity event will be an epic pub crawl. We are planning on rolling through downtown Coeur d Alene and are reaching out to at least 7 locations to see about drink specials and such.
in addition to our pub crawl members of CDAH3 will also be hosting two other events that you are all welcome to attend. On Thursday night we will be holding a dress exchange/rental party. There will be libations on hand but you may want to byod just in case. Then on Friday night we are all wearing camo to go watch an amazing band, LDW, in Spokane. Both events are posted on this page.
Our goal will be to donate 100% of all proceeds to our chosen charity and for that reason we are only asking for a 10 dollar donation to participate. Every dollar of your donation will be given back to the charity.
Since we are focusing on raising the most money this year, you will need to bring cash for pub stops. In addition to the pub stops we will have at least one beer stop and shot stop which will be paid for by the CDAH3. We will mostly be in downtown CDA but will also hit some shiggy and the lake to cool off on a hot August day.
No swag will be available this year as we try to maximize our donation. Again, every dollar taken in will be donated. As always, we will be glad to accept as much as you are willing to give and we will solicit donations as we wind our way through beautiful Coeur d Alene.
This year our local cause will be raising money for a local teenager that was very nearly killed in a vehicle vs pedestrian accident. Nicholas Eloe is a local hockey player known to many in the community. On July 21st Nick was going to pick up something he’s been dreaming of…his first ever fishing boat. Well, he got his dream come true, however on the way home he and his dad stopped along the road side because Nick saw some debris in the middle of the road.
While attempting to retrieve the debris, he was hit by a pickup truck doing over 50 miles an hour while his dad was in the pickup truck.
His dad performed much needed first-aid at the scene but life flight was called in to transport him over 40 miles to sacred heart hospital in Spokane.

The Museum has three new exhibits this season. The two seasonal exhibits New Land, New Life: Immigrants Shaped Our Region and Keeping History Alive. The first exhibit provides a look into the lives of some of the people in the major immigrant groups that settled here. The second exhibit showcases a sampling of the Museum of North Idaho’s recent artifact donations. The exhibits will run April 2 through October 31st. A new permanent exhibit Explores and Fur Trade, created by the Friends of Spokane House, looks at trade prior to white settlement and explorers.
To date, we have raised nearly $145,000 for cancer patients in North Idaho.

We are the Carper family of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and represent the Carper Community Foundation. The roots of our foundation started as a homegrown fundraiser in our backyard nearly 10 years ago, but through the generosity and support of local partners we have been able to expand our fundraising efforts and make a tangible impact here in our community.
WHAT DRIVES US.
Our dedication to this cause is in loving tribute to so many in our community that have battled cancer, but especially we honor our mom Kathy Carper. She lost her long-time battle to breast cancer in 2001, but her amazing courage and strength of spirit continues to inspire those her knew her. We were supported by so many in our community and this is our way of giving back.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY.
We remain committed as an organization to ensure our fundraising efforts help those right here in our community. As such, we donate our funds to local community cancer foundations; including the Panhandle Health District, Kootenai Health Foundation Patient Support Fund and Susan G. Komen Idaho. The funds donated to the Kootenai Health Foundation will be used in the Cancer Patient Support Fund, which has the greatest financial need within the cancer center and aims to remove financial barriers that would prohibit a patient from getting the care they need. Often this money is used for gas cards, necessary pain medications not covered by insurance, co-pays, cab rides and sometimes even groceries or new shoes for kids. Funds also go toward providing FREE lifesaving mammograms to those who cannot afford this service, and breast cancer research so that one day, we’ll find a cure for this deadly disease.
Welcome to the 11th annual Break the Silence 5k walk for suicide prevention and awareness hosted by the Suicide Prevention Action Network of North Idaho.
Join us on Saturday, September 14th, for the 11th annual Break the Silence 5K walk (run, jog, or however you roll)! Our walk is to remember those lost to suicide, raise awareness of this public health issue, and promote local mental health resources.

Join us for our first-ever SOURCES OF STRENGTH COLOR RUN! This 1-mile run with splashes of color chalk along the way is a great way to promote healthy and happy living among middle and high school students in our school district. All proceeds from this event will go directly to the new Sources of Strength programs serving our secondary schools. This will be the second year of Sources of Strength, which empowers kids from all walks of life to create a culture within their school that brings about healthy change through diversity and compassion. This dynamic club is student-led and assists in helping all students find their personal strength through a message of hope, health and strength.

A Martini Affair will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Season’s of Coeur d’Alene from 5:30-8:30p.m. Dinner and a beverage are included in the $50 ticket. There will be silent and live auction, the wine grab and more. This event in raises funds to support the unique needs of the survivors that Safe Passage supports in the community.
Safe Passage Violence Prevention Center is possible because of supporters like you with the sustained support Safe Passage receives from donations, volunteers and corporate sponsorship’s. in 2018, we provided safety and services to over 1,300 victims—who otherwise might not have had a place to go or the financial means to get help.
