North Idaho Connections Training for Community Organizations @ St. Pius Catholic Church Faith and Formation Building
Feb 28 @ 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Kootenai Health and the Northwest Hospital Alliance would like to invite you to our Community Organizations Training for North Idaho Connections.

What is North Idaho Connections?
Connections is a robust online search and referral platform for healthcare organizations, community partners, patients and family members to access up-to-date information about over 1000 community resources in northern Idaho. The platform also contains information about free and reduced services available across the nation.

The online platform helps connect all people in need with programs and services that will support them with dignity and ease. The online search makes it easy for people facing social needs – and those who help others – to find and make referrals to appropriate programs and services for food, shelter, health care, work, financial assistance and much more.

Why it is important?
North Idaho Connections fills an important gap that exists in our communities. There are thousands of resources that can help people meet their needs, however there is not a resource database that exists that is up to date and robust. North Idaho Connections is free for all people and organizations to use. Organizations have the opportunity to customize their program listings on the site and respond to client referrals sent to them directly from the site. In the past many groups and organizations have tried to fill the gap of a resource directory but everyone hits the same barrier how do we keep this up to date?

North Idaho Connections is a site that is up to date, regularly maintained and is easy to use to connect people to resources.

Who Should Attend?
Community Organizations in the 5 northern counties of Idaho that offer programs and services for people in North Idaho.

You can visit North Idaho Connections at: NorthIdahoConnections.Org

There are two sessions available (register for 1 only- each session will be the same). Session 1: 8:00 am to 9:30 am | Session 2: 10:30 am to Noon
