2019 LCTA Fundraising Celebration @ Ponderosa Springs Golf Course

The Lake City Trail Alliance’s annual fundraiser, sponsorship drive, and celebration will be hosted at the Ponderosa Springs Golf Course at Capone’s Pub on the Green.*

+ $10 entry fee for non-members ($5 for members)

+ Live music by Broken Mantle Band

+ Taco bar and raffle prizes!

We invite our guests to help us raise money to be used on local trail work. So much of our work depends on tools, fuel, and machinery. We appreciate our members and volunteers. Thank you.

Free Evening at the Museum @ Museum of North Idaho

The Museum has three new exhibits this season. The two seasonal exhibits New Land, New Life: Immigrants Shaped Our Region and Keeping History Alive. The first exhibit provides a look into the lives of some of the people in the major immigrant groups that settled here. The second exhibit showcases a sampling of the Museum of North Idaho’s recent artifact donations. The exhibits will run April 2 through October 31st. A new permanent exhibit Explores and Fur Trade, created by the Friends of Spokane House, looks at trade prior to white settlement and explorers.

Break the Silence 2019 @ Riverstone Park

Welcome to the 11th annual Break the Silence 5k walk for suicide prevention and awareness hosted by the Suicide Prevention Action Network of North Idaho.

Join us on Saturday, September 14th, for the 11th annual Break the Silence 5K walk (run, jog, or however you roll)! Our walk is to remember those lost to suicide, raise awareness of this public health issue, and promote local mental health resources.

Registration to walk is FREE; unless with your registration you want to purchase a 2019 Break the Silence t-shirt featuring our new SPAN of North Idaho logo for $30.00. Of course, donations are always appreciated.

North Idaho Walk to End Alzheimer’s @ Riverstone Park

You’re invited to the North Idaho Walk to End Alzheimer’s!

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s disease. Funds raised for the event are used for Alzheimer’s research and to provide care and support services to local families impacted by the disease.

This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease!

When you participate in Walk, you’re fueling our mission and raising the level of Alzheimer’s awareness in your community.

Join us and lead the way to Alzheimer’s first survivor. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease!

This is a family and pet friendly event, and the walk route is fully accessible. It is free to attend; however, participants who raises $100 or more will receive a Walk to End Alzheimer’s t-shirt.

Presented by Idaho Central Credit Union! Mark your calendars! Only $25 for for 16 yrs and older. Kids under 16 free! 12:00-2:00 join us for family fun with face painting, bounce houses, Papa Murphy Pizza, Disney Princesses will even make an appearance!!! 2:00 PM is the opening ceremony followed by the remembrance ceremony to honor those affected by a pregnancy, infant or child loss. If you would like your child’s name read at the ceremony, on a sign on the race route and on our shirts, please message our office info@inwsids.org If you would like to join our planning team, we would love to have you! Dirty Bird Trail Run @ McEuen Park

Welcome to our 8th Annual Dirty Bird Trail Run.
***Please read***

This is an impromptu trail run for a good cause. We will be collecting food and donation for Children’s Village, Inc.
* Please park on the east side of McEuen Park (City Hall Parking lot) I will have my van and you can drop off your donation there. I will have the back doors open for your donation.
***LET’S FILL THE VAN UP!!!!
The run will start at the McEuen Park Band Shell. From band shell we will run to the 3rd street entrance and run around Tubbs Hill (counter clock wise) and back to the band shell. This is a fun run, all we ask for is a donation for Children’s Village from their needs list.
Route: 2.5(ish) mile trail run (course will be marked)
* After the run we can warm up at
Evans brothers coffee.

After swing by Fleet Feet Coeur d’ Alene and pick up some gear… you deserve it!
